Notom + your AI assistant

Talk to your notes
in the chat you already use.

Connect Notom to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or whatever you chat with. Ask what's on your plate, capture a note by just talking, and get the one thing to do right now - without leaving the conversation.

Your assistant, now with your memory attached

Once it's connected, just ask in plain language.

Find anything

“What did I write about the Henderson project?” It reads your notes and answers.

Capture by talking

“Make a note: call the dentist Thursday.” Notom saves it and pulls out the to-do.

See your to-dos

“What's on my list?” Everything you've committed to, in one place.

Know what's next

“What should I focus on right now?” The single most important thing, then tick it off.

Setup takes a minute

No key to copy. Just sign in.

  1. In your assistant, find Connectors and choose to add a custom one.
  2. Paste in Notom's address: https://notom.app/mcp/notes
  3. A Notom sign-in window opens. Sign in as you normally would and approve the access.
  4. That's it. Ask your assistant about your notes.

Step-by-step instructions for Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor are in Connect your AI assistant.

Works with what you already use

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any other tool that supports connectors. You're not locked into one assistant - connect Notom to whichever you prefer, and switch whenever you like.

You're in control

Access is only ever what you approve, and you can disconnect at any time.

Read-only if you want

Let it look without letting it change, create or delete anything.

Your notes stay yours

Connecting an assistant doesn't make your notes public or share them with anyone.

FAQ

The questions people ask.

Which AI assistants work with Notom?

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and anything else that supports connectors (the open standard is called MCP). You add Notom's web address in your assistant, sign in once, and it can work with your notes.

Do I need to copy an API key?

No. The simple route is to paste one web address into your assistant and sign in to Notom in the window that opens. There's nothing to copy and no password to share. API keys exist for scripts and automations that ask for one, but most people never need them.

Can the assistant change or delete my notes?

Only if you let it. You can connect with read-and-write access, or read-only so it can look but not change anything. Either way you can disconnect it at any time.

Will connecting an assistant make my notes public?

No. Connecting an assistant doesn't make your notes public or share them with anyone else. The assistant only reaches your account because you signed in, and only does what you ask it to.
